Capture, Direct, and Co-Create content with ~100k YouTube Channel focused on Popular & Niche Gaming Retrospectives
It’s not everyday you get to work with a childhood friend on their successful YouTube gaming channel, so when Dave originally asked for help recording his Super Show series I jumped at the opportunity. Together we captured live action footage to blend with his signature animation & editing styles to provide in-depth walkthroughs explaining gameplay, narrative, and social impact for dozens of games, including personal favorites Jet Set Radio and Final Fantasy VII Remake. Along with co-directing a few episodes like Red Dead Redemption 2 I worked with Dave to co-create an original retrospective series for the channel, You Need To Know, to introduce intensely popular niche series to a wider audience with context for their popularity and cultural importance. The 10-episode series has racked up over 300,000 total views to date.
